Glass frogs are adorable. This species is currently being reviewed by taxonomists and will be changed in the coming years, but no matter what, they’re little cuties.

A cutie indeed! How far do taxonomists want to move it? Will it be changed but still within the glass frogs? Or is the whole family not monophyletic and will be dissassembled?

It’s just more cryptic diversity by way of genetics and call analysis! So, not far, but likely more endemic to Honduras than previously thought (as is the trend with a lot of herpetofauna in the region).
