THE PETIT-BOURGEOIS PARASITE: Why Anarchism Remains the Infantile Allergy of the Proletariat

By a Correspondent of the Central Committee

Let us dispense with the velvet gloves and speak in the language of dialectical materialism. For decades, the revolutionary vanguard has been forced to waste invaluable breath explaining the scientific laws of history to a faction of hysterical, black-flag-waving dilettantes who refuse to read anything thicker than a pamphlet. It is time to state the matter plainly, without the sugar-coating of “left unity": anarchism is not a revolutionary alternative; it is a psychological disorder of the petty-bourgeoisie, a counter-revolutionary tumor, and the single most reliable method of delivering the working class directly into the jaws of the fascist butcher.

The “Rebellion” of the Shopkeeper

Let us begin with the class essence, which these “libertarians” conveniently ignore whenever they scream about “vertical hierarchy.” Who constitutes the anarchist movement? It is the déclassé intellectual, the artisan terrified of industrial consolidation, and the peasant clutching his tiny plot of land. Marx long ago identified this stench: anarchism is the political expression of the petty-bourgeoisie who fear the proletarian state because they rightly recognize it as the instrument that will dissolve their pathetic, proprietary interests into the collective.

When an anarchist screams “No Gods, No Masters,” what they are actually expressing is the resentment of the small-time trader who cannot compete with monopoly capital. Their “anti-authoritarianism” is merely the inverted vanity of the bourgeois individualist. They do not hate the bourgeoisie; they hate that they are not yet the bourgeoisie. They demand absolute freedom—not for the exploited worker, but for the self, that sacred fetish of capitalist alienation. In this, they are the bourgeoisie turned inside out: equally obsessed with property, equally terrified of discipline, and equally allergic to the scientific organization required to seize the means of production.

An “Infantile Disorder” on the Historical Stage

Lenin dissected this pathology with surgical precision. He labeled anarchist ultra-leftism an “infantile disorder"—and we must emphasize the word infantile*. The anarchist does not analyze history; they throw a tantrum at it. They mistake emotional incontinence for revolutionary fervor. Because they lack the rigorous framework of dialectical materialism, they conflate the *state* of the capitalist oppressor with the *dictatorship of the proletariat*. They genuinely cannot perceive the difference between a fascist police baton and the organized armed defense of the workers’ councils. To an anarchist, a prison is a prison, and a factory is a factory—their intellectual poverty prevents them from grasping that the *class character of an institution determines its function.

Consequently, the anarchist program is not a strategy; it is a suicide pact. Their entire “praxis” consists of smashing windows, burning cars, and declaring “autonomous zones” that collapse into squabbling, drug-addled communes within seventy-two hours. When asked, “What comes after the revolution?”, the anarchist replies with the intellectual depth of a puddle: “We will figure it out spontaneously!” This is not dialectics; this is the nihilistic rambling of a drunkard who believes that demolishing the factory floor will magically produce bread.

The Objective Counter-Revolutionary

History has rendered its verdict, and it is damning. Wherever anarchists have grasped a sliver of influence, they have delivered defeat and reaction. Look to the Spanish Civil War—the anarchists of the CNT-FAI, despite their bombastic rhetoric, spent more time executing priests and burning churches than they did organizing effective military logistics. When the fascists marched on Madrid, the anarchist “heroes” refused to submit to centralized military command, resulting in a chaotic rabble that was systematically pulverized by Franco’s disciplined artillery. Their “libertarian communism” was merely the prelude to Stalinist necessity, the tragic proof that without a vanguard party, the proletariat is merely slaughter-fodder.

Then there is the abominable case of Nestor Makhno in Ukraine. The Makhnovshchina was touted as the anarchist paradise. In reality, it was a roving band of anti-Semitic peasant bandits who kidnapped workers, decimated the Jewish population in pogroms, and fought against the Red Army with the same ferocity they reserved for the White Guards. Why? Because for the anarchist, the state is the only enemy—even if that state is the nascent worker’s republic. By fighting the Bolsheviks, Makhno objectively allied himself with the forces of international capital, proving that anarchism is merely the left-wing disguise of the counter-revolution. Their “third way” always leads straight into the arms of the bourgeoisie, because they would rather stab the revolutionary in the back than share power in a disciplined party.

Spontaneity vs. Scientific Socialism

Consider their modus operandi. The anarchist despises the Party Congress, the Central Committee, and the principle of Democratic Centralism. They call these “bureaucratic.” But what is their alternative? A “spontaneous uprising.” This is the most cynical fraud they peddle. Spontaneity is the ideology of the lumpen-proletariat, the gambling addict, the unskilled laborer who refuses to study political economy. Marxism teaches us that the masses, left to their own devices, produce only trade-union consciousness—a limited, economistic worldview that cannot break the chains of capital. To smash the state, one requires a vanguard, a disciplined corps of professional revolutionaries armed with the theories of Marx, Engels, and Lenin.

Yet the anarchist despises theory. They proclaim that “the revolution must be lived, not planned.” This is the language of the mystic, not the materialist. When an anarchist sneers at “armchair Marxists,” they are really sneering at science itself. They prefer the thrill of the barricade to the drudgery of factory organization. They are the tourists of revolution, arriving for the street fighting and leaving when the sewage systems need to be repaired and the grain rations need to be distributed.

The Final Betrayal: The “Free Market” of Opinions

Most disgustingly, the anarchist has become the unwitting parrot of bourgeois liberalism. Today, on the internet, they cry for “horizontalism” and “consensus democracy.” In practice, this means that the loudest, most narcissistic individual can veto the will of the collective. Consensus is not democracy; it is the tyranny of the stubborn minority. It guarantees paralysis. Meanwhile, the capitalist state—centralized, armed, and efficient—sits outside their commune, sharpening its knives. The anarchist, in their naivety, demands we disarm the proletarian state before the bourgeoisie has been expropriated. This is not liberation; this is treason.

Conclusion: The Parasite Must Be Cut Out

The revolutionary movement does not need the anarchist. The movement tolerates them, as one tolerates a case of indigestion. They are the sentimental wrecks of the revolutionary ship, the “fellow travelers” who abandon the train at the first sign of a difficult mountain pass. Their philosophy is the ideology of the bankrupt, the philosophy of the petty shopkeeper who cannot see the forest for the trees, and the practice of the counter-revolutionary who would rather let the world burn than accept the discipline of the proletarian state.

Let them hurl their Molotov cocktails at the police. Let them chant their slogans about “freedom.” Meanwhile, the Marxist-Leninist will be at the factory floor, at the army barracks, and in the Party apparatus—building the centralized, iron-willed instrument that will actually crush the bourgeoisie and usher in the withering away of the state, after the enemy is destroyed. The anarchist only withers. The proletarian revolution endures.

For the dictatorship of the proletariat, against the petty-bourgeois chaos.
