Several species of solitary bees need bare ground to breed!

Here in our region almost 3/4 of all solitary bees (not to confuse with those living in hives) are ground breeding. But classical agricultural soil is moved too often to offer a habitat for them. Better keep some natural/ untouched areas in the garden or field to support them. They are good pollinators too!
