Combined with the increasing complexity of software and operating systems, this creates a creeping mindset of “that’s just how it is, only other computers can understand it” or some such. Which I heartily disagree with.

AI craze? No joke, my brother’s birthday is tomorrow. I asked chatgpt to create a cartoon of him, asked tropo to turn that into a 3d model and printed a model of him as a cartoon. A totally exclusive and awesome little model of.him. I’m sorry, I work in cyber and I still have my mind blown from the infinite possibilities and how much you can fast track a process. When I started High school we didn’t had Internet and Iphones and now I can have anything I imagine in my hands in 2 hours. Fucking awesome

If you could imagine it, you wouldn’t have to ask a robot to imagine it for you.
I also work in “cyber” and my mind only gets blown by how the infinite possibilities have been constrained to those which generate profits for middlemen and how the only processes that get fast-tracked are the ones designed to squeeze more profit out of the same customer base.
