The production value in this was abysmal. If Powerpoint animation is your thing, congratulations, it’s here.
But I was surprised by the story. All kinds of not-so subtle things hint that something is off:
The villagers refer to themselves as Children of Moloch, not a traditionally good thing to call yourself.
Our protagonist hints that he’s got memories of our modern world, and incongruously, magic.
If I can stomach the animation, this might be worth watching some more.

This has some interesting ideas and worldbuilding, but I think it really failed in its execution. The action was really lackluster and the characters felt very flat. Overall, I wasn’t impressed. I give the premiere a 2/5.
