A monkey used to steal bananas from the shop every day. The shopkeeper tried hard but couldn't catch him. Finally, he got fed up and came up with an idea. The next day, he put some big gourds in the place of the bananas. The monkey came as before and saw the gourds and thought that these must be big bananas! With difficulty, he lifted a gourd onto his shoulder and climbed up the tree. But when he tried to peel it, he saw that it was not a banana! He threw the gourd down in anger and said, "I guess the shopkeeper has started a diet today too!" From then on, he would never steal anything without looking. The lesson to be learned is that greed and dishonesty ultimately lead to ridiculous situations.
