@stefano After having migrated most of my FreeBSD servers to OpenBSD, I was still curious about Solaris. I noticed that OmniOS is a pretty interesting system for running a database server.
I have made a couple of notes on OmniOS for FreeBSD users: https://www.linuxquestions.org/questions/solaris-opensolaris-20/initial-omnios-impressions-by-a-bsd-user-4175626757/
I self-hosted OpenIndiana for a while but have since been become interested in OmniOS. Does anyone have firsthand experience with
crossbow?@naltun It's great, when you get used to it
@stefano is there an existing tool that is comparable in feature parity / CLI? Or is
crossbowcompletely its own design?
