My job literally has HR advisors that search your name through all the major social media sites and build webs of accounts created by individual users. You don’t even disclose your socials because they’ll have them already…

I don’t have them. I have a facebook that I check every few weeks to make sure none of my family members have died, but that’s about it.

I’ve had employers questioning the lack of a LinkedIn profile that’s also updated.
Also had some looking at peoples Instagram.

This actually makes sense. The problem though, will be the same reason fact checkers failed; personal and institutional bias on what’s considered acceptable.
Only an unbiased AI could do this well, and that’s a loose statement.

I don’t think there’s such a thing as an unbiased AI. They’re all biased based on the input data.
Something like this would be inherently subjective, it’s not a pure data question with a clear yes or no.
