A bit pricey and I haven't tried it myself, but it seems like a good option for self-hosting on overly-restrictive ISPs.
I've used it in the past, I was running my Mastodon instance from a Raspberry Pi inside my closet for a couple years. I only stopped using it because I'm moving into an RV and my internet will be unreliable.

$8/m seems really pricey for what's effectively a Wireguard VPN. With a cheap VPN one could easily get the same for half the price.

Right, the fact they handle/mitigate failures on BGP level is indeed a nice feature that is not easily reproducible with most vServers. Thanks for pointing that out.
