The article doesn’t say anything about how the monkey is doing, so I’m going to assume it’s fine.
I’m sad to say that ‘coming into contact’ with a grid transformer (enough to knock the whole system out) is usually not an activity that leaves much room for future health concerns for that monkey.
Squirrels in North America and parts of Europe are the chaos gremlins, but the result is the same.
