Many of those receiving this money are actually Ukrainians who have been fleeing the war since 2022. They cost German taxpayers €5.8 billion last year while Syrians cost €3.5 billion. Afghans were behind with €1.3 billion.

So yeah. They probably arrived recently and with fuck nothing.

I’m pretty sure that’s intentional. The German government wants an underclass of citizens who strain resources that they can point fingers at. A bit like themselves in the 1930s.
