web apps are alternative to traditional apps also elon could just make separate apk package that could be downloaded outside of play store
Not to sound like a complete child here but playstore are gay stores, web based internet only sites usually are best in my opinion. Idk maybe im retarded but apps just always need updating and simply suck
Web apps are more secure. PWA's can look and feel nearly as good.
Still, most people prefer apps through the app stores for some reason.
I tend to use web apps by default where I can.
But more competition in the handset market would be very welcome. Most people believe their only choice is Apple or Google which gives these tech tyrants too much power
I agree with your synopsis
If Qualcomm would just open source their drivers we would have alternatives already.
