“Solar on the balconies, at the rooftops, and a battery that has been the must-have now in every home to make sure that when you have very long power outages, such as we saw this winter, 14 hours without electricity or longer, you have to have at least some possibility to keep on working,” Anna Ackermann, Policy Analyst with Green Reconstruction of Ukraine Energy Program told TVP World. “And Ukrainians are very good in keeping on working no matter what the situation. So renewables have been a very important answer to this.”
