Should people have kids in this economy?

  Eh, remember the bad old times were basically entire population of any given country were slaves to the ones with power — people somehow had lots of kids. They had plots of land for growing food though, most of the time, so that might be a factor to keep in mind. In my opinion — if you have the urge to reproduce then do it, you won’t regret it regardless of financial situation. If not, then don’t.
