Fans of the Lunar series have spotted something interesting about the upcoming Lunar Remastered Collection. The remaster keeps the original lyrics from the introduction song of the PlayStation 1 versions, which were localized by Working Designs back in the 1990s.

Fan speculation and a whole article about it, and no one took the time to actually check… I did literally five minutes of research and the screenshots on Sony’s blog post match the Working Designs script. So it’s it pretty clear that they’re using that script, at least for English.

This is really disappointing. The Working Designs translation is nostalgic, sure, but it’s also garbage.
