I know we’re trying to move away from the official NaNoWriMo stuff and forge our own identity here, but I had no idea that Chris Baty, the original founder of NaNoWriMo, was so dismayed by what happened that he helped start it all up again last year with NaNo 2.0. https://nano2.org/posts/2025/welcome-to-nano-2-0/
I had no clue! So now I’ve joined both NaNo 2.0 and FediWriMo.
Back in the day, the original NaNoWriMo site was pretty awesome. I especially loved how they had a different theme each year, with all sorts of fun graphics, banners, and posters.
Maybe we should do something like that here at FediWriMo, with a new theme each year?
Here’s my original NaNoWriMo poster from 2013. I loved that year’s graphics. I just unrolled it today for the first time in ages, and now I’m thinking I might actually hang it up!
