Indian companies now hold the largest set of firm green hydrogen supply commitments anywhere in the world. Till October 2026, they had signed binding offtake agreements totalling 5,55,610 metric tonnes per annum (MTPA) of green hydrogen equivalent, according to data released by the Union Government on 29 October 2026.
