@s0 Bots are usually much more sneaky than that.. in the US they'll be pro Trump, in the UK pro Reform for example.. their aim is to push the conversation a certain way to increase the chance their preferred candidate gains power.

I don't doubt such bots are on fedi but they have a harder time.. there's no algorithm to boost their post, it relies on people to agree with them, and there are few of them here. We need to strive to keep it that way.
