I've updated nodebb-plugin-dbsearch to use the new search functionality. This is fairly new in the community edition of MongoDB.

There are some requirements to run this.

  1. MongoDB 8.3 or newer
  2. MongoDB running as a replica set, even if it's just a single node.
  3. mongot the process that handles the search needs to be installed and configured. https://www.mongodb.com/docs/search/self-managed/current/installation/linux/

To use it you have to add useMongoSearch: true in your mongo block in nodebb config.json and restart your nodebb. Otherwise the old text index is used.
