With WWE Crown Jewel scheduled to take place in Riyadh on November 7, the U.S. State Department has ordered nonessential diplomatic personnel and their family members to leave Saudi Arabia

The news comes amid escalating attacks by the Iran-backed Houthi rebel group in the region. Multiple upcoming events in Riyadh have been canceled or postponed.

The U.S. Embassy in Riyadh also issued a new security alert Wednesday warning of further attacks. The alert also states that King Khalid International Airport in Riyadh remains suspended.

As of this writing, WWE has not announced any plans to postpone, reschedule or relocate Crown Jewel.

At a certain point, this starts to look like depraved indifference.
