It builds me an actual comparison file for hotels instead of a chat answer. I have a travel folder with a CLAUDE.md where my dealbreakers live, like: parking, no resort fees, quiet room, and for every trip it pulls the hotels from the connectors, writes them into one table with the total for the whole stay with every fee in, and groups the rooms that are actually the same. That last part matters way more than I thought, when I looked at a few thousand rates in one city almost half had a fee you pay at the hotel on top, and at one hotel I saw 48 different rates that were really just 7 rooms with different names. Coz it’s a file and a script and not a chat message I just say “rerun it for the 14th instead” and get the same table again with new dates. It keeps watching the price after I book. If the hotel has free cancellation I leave it running so that it searches the same room every morning until the free cancellation ends and pings me if it got cheaper so I can rebook. Hotel prices move a lot, I’ve seen the same room go up about 60% within a few hours once the cheapest rate sold out and they come down the same way. When it goes down, because I had a refundable hotel I just cancel it, and buy at the new price. It searches a bunch of dates before I even pick them. If I know roughly when I want to go it searches the same trip for every date in that window through the connectors and adds them to the same file as a table with the cheapest few on top, and I have it rerun that every morning. Dates matter way more than people think, I compared the same 77 hotels in New York on two Fridays and the middle price was $441 on one and $666 on the other just because of an event that weekend, so it also checks what’s on in the city for each date so I know why one is pricier. For flights it checks a few country versions of the sites. The same flight can cost a different amount depending on which country’s version of the site you’re on, I had the exact same Etihad round trip at about $570 on the Malaysian version and about $820 on the US version, same seats, and it wasn’t about the IP or a VPN. Nobody checks that by hand coz it’s annoying, but Claude can open the same search on a few country versions and put the totals side by side in my currency. Surprise guys Claude Code is not only for coding. For the live prices it needs connectors, I used these ones from official claude directory, Claude Code can use them too: Booking_com: claude.ai/directory/booking Tripadvisor: claude.ai/directory/tripadvisor Brek: claude.ai/directory/brek-hotel-wholesale-booking LetsFG: claude.ai/directory/letsfg Enjoy :) and if you use Claude Code for some non coding stuff drop it in the comments submitted by /u/Efistoffeles
