Extension for saving and restoring named tab sessions in Firefox — relevant for anyone with complex browsing setups or multiple projects.
What it does:
- Save named snapshots of current tabs (‘work-project’, ‘research’, ‘current-bug’)
- Restore any saved session without losing current tabs
- Export/import sessions as plain JSON
All storage is local — no accounts, no cloud, no telemetry. The JSON is human-readable so you can inspect, back up, or version control your sessions.
I use it mostly for project context switching — save the tabs for one context before switching to another, restore when returning.
