They already have former CIA people at key moderation and marketing positions at Tiktok (for years; it's not even a secret. It's on their LinkedIn profiles). I guess they just want more and more.

  It's more about being able to control or punish social media platforms due to the election (last time this happened we had FaceBook scapegoated for Trump's victory)
