why not? it would increase GDP if people have more money to spend.
They don’t actually care about GDP, no billionaire does what they do for GDP.
if GDP goes to zero, then no company is profitable anymore -> all the stock value goes to zero.

GDP is a descriptor of an economy. If it goes to 0, it means there are no companies or groups producing anything of value. Not the other way around.
