A.k.a., 5 dishes I’ve never heard about before, much less had any idea of their origin.
Where would I live that I’d have encountered these in a non-Malaysian restaurant, and be reading an article about it in English? India? London? Northern California?
Heck, I’m not sure there’s even a single Malaysian restaurant in my mid-West greater metropolitan area. Now I’m going to have to go look. While none of the names are familiar, some of these dishes look super tasty.

Anyway, do try out those food if you ever encounter them. My personal favourite is chilli pan mee.
