Israel bombs a building in Beirut with civilians in it, outside of Hezbolla controlled territory. Israel carries an assasination inside Iran of Hamas leader. Which is fair, but they did it during the inauguration of a new president all while they had foreign emissaries present in the country. I don’t know what Israel’s calculus is, but sometimes I just don’t think there is any, as long as the United States keeps supporting them I don’t think Israel will ever practice mediate their behavior.
