The mod is basically MIA…but did post there hoping for some feedback. Out of curiousity are you a mod or know about modding because I am looking for one to help me out at lemmy.world/c/amarequests
Comment on Apparently lemmy has an AMA community can someone link it for me?
LastoftheDinosaurs@reddthat.com 1 month agoI’m not sure, but you could probably revive it or build your own. All it really takes is a few active users to start a new community. I’m looking for a new project and wouldn’t mind helping you get this or another community off the ground.
Here are a couple of posts I found when looking for more information on the current state of Lemmy AMAs. They show community sentiment and past attempts to get started.

What did you have in mind? I was hoping to work together.

Hi there! Looks like you linked to a Lemmy community using a URL instead of its name, which doesn’t work well for people on different instances. Try fixing it like this: !amarequests@lemmy.world

It’s actually surprisingly easy to revive one if you give at least the minimum amount of effort required to be the only poster for a bit.
I’ve revived ones with zero posts for months.

Agreed. I also find that commenting and supporting good posts helps encourage more activity.
