You know funny enough that’s not actually all that far off. To avoid too many spoilers that’s a species basically unheard of and is in fact a huge deal they are present on the surface. We will get more details on them later on

Yeah, you wouldn’t. The anime skipped their introduction though they showed up in Slime Diaries. All of Rimurus honey comes from Apito while Zegion defends her as well as the Treants. Though those of course are now inside the Dungeon.
