Part of me thinks I shouldn’t be paying for this at all and hosting on AWS, which I have for free — but self-administering the modern React deployment chain is tedious

React is a UI component library. Someone, please explain to me, why “deployment chain” for UI compinenets is a thing (for an indie dev, no less) we have to pay 40$ a month to automate away. It’s ridiculous, it’s insane and it shouldn’t exist.

Modern web dev is brain rot.
