I did succeed in printing but every print had that texture almost perfectly its kinda neat I guess.

shelf@piefed.social 1 week agoI tried a few different flow ratios and it didn’t fix but while printing it randomly hit a line of filament that didn’t seem to have any carbon fiber in it and it was fine.
Anyways I think I’m just going to avoid this filament it was 16 bucks which should have been my first sign and it smells like abs not asa. To top it all off it leaves a weird oily residue whic h stops the next print from sticking to the build plate.

It really is kinda neat if that’s a texture you’re going for. I think it would make a nice pen holder on my office’s desk.
Not the ideal use of ASA, but also not the price of ASA.

diameter seems to be 1.73-1.75 ish. I switched back to some regular asa and it printed flawlessly. I’d recommend not buying eryone asa cf unless you really want the weird lizard skin texture.
