It’s a bit late in the game to drum up support for third party candidates. Republicans have been playing the long game and pushing local elections hard right for years, decades even. You can’t jump in a few months before elections and expect to make any difference other than ensuring the Republican base doesn’t win again.

Ranked choice is the only solution.
