No, now that’s just a redirect. That’s like saying googel.com is the real site of google.com because it "works properly

Like I click Twitter icon from the verge website (www.theverge.com/contact-the-verge). it still works unless Elon want to kill twitter URL and force other company to migrate. which is quite crazy.
