Nah, it will very hard to do. I wanted it to be fast from the start, so I was playing with sync and how I store data in browser.

I hate to be that jerk, but did you consider just implementing this as a front end to TaksWarrior? It has everything here, with 20 years of experience, except for the nice GUI front end.
