I'm sure they'll say, no. The Sharkey Development team historically likes to downplay and put a spin on everything.

However, posting polls that only will work with other Sharkey sites or older copies of Mastodon and Misskey, doesn't give a good imagine.

That said, as it stands now, Sharkey is a small fish in a large ocean, and it doesn't play well with others. Fix it, don't fix it — their call. But it would seem pretty stupid to try to be an island unto yourself when the whole point of the Fediverse is to unite. 🤷
