Fizz@lemmy.nz 18 hours agoNothing new just a 50min talk about the project and how to use it. I tried it, it was easy to setup and was fast compared to other altnets. There wasnt much on it, a chat app, a few sites, mail, git the usual. Technically interesting and I will follow it but i dont see myself learning how to develop apps for it.

afaik I2P was forked from Freenet. I wonder what makes that big of a difference in performance.

Forked off the old freenet. The new freenet is much faster I was sending and receiving chat messages with under a second of latency and there were a hundred people in chat.
