potatopotato@sh.itjust.works 8 months agoYes, but there’s already a steep tariff, it would be nice to let them light a small fire under the us automakers so they make better products for us, instead were kinda just letting them be evil and lazy.

But they don’t want to make better products for you. They want China to make products for you that they slap their badge on and sell you at an enormous mark-up.
