CosmicCleric@lemmy.world 4 months agoI feel like you’re missing the point. Maybe I wasn’t clear. Yes, Lemmy World does use it, however it’s a feature of Lemmy itself, not just of Lemmy World. Lemmy World is just one instance of Lemmy and they all use the same markup.
My point is calling it the Lemmy.World markup is inaccurate and potentially misleading. Lemmy is more than just Lemmy.World.
Well, I’m using the Lemmy.World web client to post comments, and thats the formatting they have (per this link). If they are incorrect, then the issue needs to be resolved by Lemmy.World and the other Federated servers software maintainers, and not by me. I’m doing what I’m supposed to, as a user with an account at Lemmy.World.
Also, mobile clients do not set the standard, the Lemmy servers do. As far as I know and have seen so far, all servers support Lemmy.World’s formatting, its only the mobile clients that do not.

I’m sorry if I made you feel that way. For the future anything hosted at join-lemmy.org would be part of the Lemmy software itself.
