Comment on Roku OS home screen is getting video ads for the first time
MostlyGibberish@lemm.ee 5 months agoI was kind of afraid that would be the answer. Do you still need a separate Apple device to set it up? I’m not necessarily morally opposed to buying an Apple product, but I am morally opposed to buying two to use one.

No need for other Apple devices. It can act as a standalone box. It may want an AppleID account during setup. I’m unsure about that part.
