yep, am one of those, I ended up using both Lemmy and Reddit by now, because some communities are just not present here

There was a big influx of new users from Reddit in June. Many of those probably made an account to check out Lemmy, but somehow lost interest. Lemmy user count will most likely stabilize in a month or two.

I mean, just look at the drop-off in the active users on Threads - makes that slight dip for Lemmy seem rather good in comparison.
