ChairmanMeow@programming.dev 2 months agoThere are a lot of people who are in favour of sending aid to Israel as well. Biden can’t afford to piss off either group too much. But he does know that if Trump gets elected, one of those groups gets the opposite of what they want. So he’s naturally banking on that group of people still picking him over the alternative.

Problem, the percentages supporting aid to Israel continue to drop every time the UN drops an article about mass execution graves in Gaza and AP drops an article about former state department officials saying Israel gets special treatment under the Leahy Law. Going all in on a sinking ship like that is one great way to lose an election.
