    This rightoid lunatic is complaining that the Mozilla foundation is living up to their mission statement. From the report;

    Established in July 2003, Mozilla Foundation (the Foundation) is a California not-for-profit
    corporation that exists to improve and protect the internet as a public resource by working
    with thousands of volunteers to 1) keep the internet a universal open platform and 2) promote
    continued innovation on the internet. The Foundation supports the development of open-
    source, standards-compliant, free internet applications useable free of charge to hundreds of
    millions of users. It also a) develops foundational technologies that can be used to build the
    values of openness and interoperability into the internet; and b) fuels the movement for an
    open internet through educational work that connects open internet leaders with each other
    and mobilizes grassroot activities around the world. The Foundation is headquartered in San
    Francisco, California.

    Now, the issue that this audit found was that the corporations were too tightly controlled by the foundation, but the foundation is still working towards a free and open internet. I'd call it a win.

    Also, the report is kind of dry, and only really lays out numbers. There's no boiled down conclusions, but the numbers look good. The assets outweigh the liabilities.

    What makes this rightoid lunatic right here but not some other rightoid lunatic situation? These people lie and manipulate information all the time to make false conclusions, that’s their whole MO.

    Why should we assume that he’s right in this case and that it’s not yet another case of right wing misinformation?

  That is good to know. At the end of the day you should not trust everything you read on the internet. But he still does raise some valid concerns regarding Mozilla’s financial situation
