overt_mess@kbin.social 5 months agoThis was a civil matter, not criminal, so balance of probabilities rather than absolute certainties. The criminal case was abandoned a while ago due to juror misconduct and didn’t proceed again in consideration of the young woman’s mental health. Shame really, seemed like he was looking at jail time before the juror misconduct
