  I think there was some drama a while ago about them collecting and sharing data which got them delisted from PrivacyGuides? Not a good look imo.

  I started using qwant last year for thr same reason and I haven’t looked back. Search results are excellent. I sometimes switch to Startpage as a proxy for google.
