Comment on I just rewatched Discovery. Does anyone else think this jump in the timeline is too jarring?
invertedspear@lemm.ee 7 months agoROFL, upvote cause the good info on Enterprise, but OP said Discovery. My head was stuck on Enterprise for some reason. Probably so many comments with the theme song to Enterprise.
We really do go from the age of sailing to the shuttle with the Discovery name

Yeah, I couldn’t tell if there was some joke I wasn’t getting, but the “naming paradox” comes up a lot (and I too believed it for years) so I thought I’d add some colour anyway.
