@heluecht 👍
The notifications are fine. I also think 60 seconds is too long.
If possible, the notification should appear discreetly in the footer or top left and should not cause the loading process to be interrupted.

@feb I got driven away ... Now after 3 seconds of waiting for the page to be loaded, the system will display a floating dialog that will be renewed every 3 seconds. There are several dozen texts like the following ones:
[A dialogue telling "Bitte warten" (please wait) with a "schließen" (close) button below. The message says "R2-D2 is recalculating the jump coordinates..."
A red bar at the lower end of the page saying "Following the white rabbit through the code..."

@feb @jools These are the messages: github.com/friendica/friendica…
Can you think of more books/movies/series?
@heluecht
R2-D2 😁 Make sure you keep this message
To my mind, that’s too intrusive and is more likely to put users off. It’s not an error, after all, but a notification.
I was thinking more along the lines of the discreet banner that appears in the top left-hand corner when, for example, an add-on is activated or a switch of account takes place. Small and discreet.
It feels really good on the phone as a web app!
