Comment on Why are there many hundred Chromium based browsers, but seemingly very few Firefox based browsers?

  For what it’s worth Brave does extend the base Chromium functionality quite a bit. No idea why they couldn’t have done it with FF/Gecko though.

    Opera switched to Chromium. It used to be its own thing.
