Comment on Pixelfed introduces Loops, a Short-Form Video App
JoYo@lemmy.ml 2 months agodonno, i spent about 6 months looking for a federated video service. i could host and all of them had issues with mobile uploads on iOS and Android.
Dansup has never published an app so i doubt they’re going to solve the problem no one else has.

The Pixelfed app isn’t officially published yet, but you can easily grab a beta build: pixelfed.org/mobile-apps

They can upload videos for Stories, I don’t think videos can be uploaded elsewhere from mobile, at the moment.

i dont see the option to share a video to pixelfed on iOS.
