@zkrisher @bookstodon @audiofiction great book, but I would not recommend the #audiobook to anyone with (even mild) #misophonia: they insert audio static over the "censored" parts, which repeatedly triggered my misophonia. The frequency really ramps up in the last third and I fast-forwarded through the ending because of this.

Same advice for Of Monsters and Mainframes: binary code is read aloud for dozens of seconds at a time, which got me to drop the audiobook pretty fast. I'll give it a second try as an ebook later.
