Then why arent his games DRM-free and released on GOG? Death Stranding had Denuvo.

Because he’s not the publisher Sony is and they ultimately control the budget and marketing which includes adding Denuvo.
Only thing he can do is advocate against it.

It was infact published by 505 Games on PC, after Kojima got the rights to the IP from Sony.
But he owns Kojima Productions, he chose which publisher to use and agreed to their terms.
