Fixed wireless still capped at 75/10 and lucky to get 25/5 in peak hours… So this is just extending the digital divide they claimed would never happen

They’re actually upgrading the Fixed Wireless network already as we speak. Customers on 75/10 will be automatically upgraded to 100/20 and the wholesale price will match other technologies. From mid-2024 90% of customers will be upgraded to 200-250/20 in line with these speed tier upgrades. They will also start offering a Superfast tier at 400/40 to 80% of customers. Part of the upgrades is also ensuring peak throughput, and they’re also doubling the range of each tower to enable new connections to a bunch of satellite customers.
